There is always something so haunting and tragic about a naked and broken tree.

Not so much a comment as an observation: There's a power line (not quite sure about one of them) going across the corner of each of your last three posted photos ('Tree', 'Sinking Sun', 'White Tree'). All three are photographs of nature, and yet they can't quite escape the signs of human presence or urbanization or whatever the term would be. Strangely poignant. Or maybe it's just my mood.

Nice photographs, too.

Fascinating. I hadn't noticed the wires going across the corner in all three pictures. I'm not sure how symbolic it is, or what it may symbolize. All these pics were taken within the city limits of Lawrence, KS, giving practical reason for the intrusions.
