DOJO

Dojo was the last band to play last Saturday at the "Music for the Masses" event at Burcham Park in Lawrence. It was a nice little party and $4 for several bands can't be beat. This is the only band that had decent enough light to allow me to get a legible picture. Dojo was a good little jazzy jam band, sounding at times like Pat Metheny. They also reminded me a bit of Al DiMeola's sound. We enjoyed Tri-Point Paradox too. It's a good thing they didn't have a bigger crowd since there was only one portapotty and one trash can.
