Lee & Riley

This is a classmate Lee and his son Riley. Great guys both. Observe Lee's t-shirt. It says "We Survived 30 Years" 2007. We all wore doorags on the float (Rily drove the truck) exhibiting the "Survivor" theme. Our float won 1st place.

I think that's how you spell it. This is a handheld self-pic. I'll explain the doorag under the next photo.

Lee MJ Mark Lucy & Me

Memorial Day weekend saw my 30 year high school class reunion. In my hometown all the class reunions are on this weekend, and they put us on floats and parade us around the square. Bizarre. We had a good time though. I'll be putting up pics taken from the float.

Lucy and Her New Bowling Ball

My wife Lucy has bowled with her coworkers and enjoyed it so she got her own ball. Naturally she wanted to break it in. So she talked me into going last week. I haven't bowled since I was 14 years old. But it was fun. Don't ask what my score was.

Wayne, Nebraska

Population 5,583. When we came into Wayne, Nebraska my narcissistic tendencies came bursting forth. I saw my very own name in big letters on signs -- and the very fact that they named a town after me was almost overwhelming. I wondered why more towns don't do that. We didn't stop nearly as long as I wanted to, but I did manage to capture my name quite often before we exited south.

My name is Wayne. As we entered Wayne County and then Wayne, Nebraska, my narcissistic nature went crazy as I observed my name in large letters on signs, storefronts, water towers, and buildings. The pictures ensue.
