Near Pigeon Point Lighthouse


There is excessive grayness here. But here I found beauty in the gray. If you look closely at several of these skies, you'll see flecks of hangliders. They seemed to hover, circling for as long as they wanted to over a certain and obviously thermally advantageous spot.





Having been here twice before, I think that lighthouse out on the point is one of the most beautiful things I've seen, especially in the gray. The beacon can't compare to my wife of course, but she's a beacon of her own type. If ever I publish a book, that photo of me will be on the back cover.
