In
late August 1999, my wife Lucy and I spent our anniversary weekend in southern
Utah and Colorado, in and around the area also known as The Four Corners. In
case you haven't been there; UT, CO, AZ, and NM form a perfect four corners
where their borders come together.
The
area is full of excellent photographic subject matter. The subjects don't move
either so it's easy to focus. They don't move because they've been there a very
long time. The Monument Valley sights, and the Valley of the Gods monoliths,
have probably been there for millions of years, the Indian ruins at Mesa Verde
have only been there for around a thousand, but that's still pretty old by our
standards. Please dig on the photos.
