Web Page Creation
Sites We Will Do
The first question everybody asks is this:
"How much does it cost to set up a webpage?"
This question is natural and inevitable. In order to answer
that question for you, I will have to ask you some questions.
Once we determine exactly what services you need, I will
give you a price, not an estimate, based on what we agree will be done.
This can be done as a whole project, or as sequential phases of a project.
My basic rates are $50 per hour.
This is what I charge for everything I do.
Website Design
Once we determine what your website will do, and what information
you have available to do it with, I will propose a detailed site plan.
As stated above, this can be done in phases.
HTML Programming
After we agree on a flexible plan, and a firm price, I
go to work interpretting the content that I receive from you such that
web browsers can display it in web documents.
Photo & Image Processing for the Web
Images, photographic and graphical, must be formatted and
optimized for viewing on the web. I have the experience to make your pictures
both fast-loading and appealing to the eye.
Graphics Design & Creation
Perhaps you will need some graphics created from scratch:
a logo for your company, link buttons, or a navigation bar.
CGI Script Implementation
Javascript Implementation
Scripting is necessary if you want your website visitor
to fill out a questionnaire or order merchandise; or if you want your
website to move and respond to actions from the user besides clicking
links.
E-commerce Implementation
If you want to sell something, you will need to purchase
shopping cart software. I will do all the implementation.
Other Available Web Page Services
Search Engine Submission & Treatment
People will not find your website if it is not listed on
the various major search engines. You require an experienced hand to effectively
submit your page to the important search devices. We can submit your site
for a flat price of $250. The price includes placement of indexing tags
on your page.
Website Maintenance
After your website is available online you might need to
periodically or sporadically update the information you have there. I
offer maintenance contracts starting at $100 per year. The price depends
on the size of your site and the amount of anticipated maintenance. Some
clients prefer to pay as they go.
Onsite Consultation
If you know you want a World Wide Web presence, but are
not sure what you should have there, I can come to your home or office
and review what materials you now have, or could produce. We can then
interpret this information into viable and appropriate web page content.
The cost for this is $50 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
